Double Feature: Apollo Missions & Voyager (engl.)
Apollo Missions
On July 20, 1969, 600 million people around the world gathered to witness a historic achievement of humankind, broadcast live from the Moon. "That's one small step for man, one giant leap for mankind," said Neil Armstrong.
The world celebrated as the astronauts took their first steps on the Moon. But few realized the tremendous effort required to get them there. The Apollo 11 astronauts were just two of nearly 400,000 people who had worked toward this goal for an entire decade. But how did they accomplish it? What did it take to send humans to the Moon?
Voyager
In this internationally acclaimed, award-winning show, we accompany the Voyager 1 and Voyager 2 space probes, launched in 1977, on what is perhaps the most fascinating space mission in human history. Together with them, we explore the outermost planets of our Solar System: Jupiter, Saturn, Uranus, and Neptune.
More than four decades later, the probes became the first human-made objects to leave our Solar System and are now more than 23 billion kilometers from Earth. Each carries a Golden Record, bearing a message from humanity to any extraterrestrial life that may one day encounter it in the vastness of space.
This Ukrainian fulldome production is particularly impressive for its breathtaking visualizations and never-before-seen perspectives, offering audiences a completely new view of the distant worlds of our Solar System.
